Shops

The shops' focus is to provide support for the Division of Biolological Sciences in three functional areas: Repair, Electronics, and Lab Renovation. These units operate as independently as well as one body. The shops are a self-suporting, non-profit organization operating on a break even basis. The work generated is recharged and will be billed to designated fund sources. Each of the unit's rates vary depending on the level of technical depth and experience. Estimates will be provided free of charge (limited with electronics) from each of these units for any type of new design or repair or for an estimate, e-mail Dwayne Fernandez. In our shops are student trainees who provide expert assistance to the technicians to keep costs low to the faculty and staff.
